Who is Engr. Nurudeen Adeyemi Balogun?

I am running for elective office in the great state of Harmony Kwara State because I believe in good governance and in making government work for all the people. Now is the time to stand up and fight for the prosperity, development, and progress of our people.

I am a concerned husband, parent, and citizen that worries about the future of our country and slow pace of development in Kwara State.

Today I work for a company that designs, manufactures and launches advanced rockets and spacecraft that is looking to revolutionize space technology. I have many years of experience working in the automotive industry developing cutting edge technologies. I am looking forward to making Kwara State a great technology hub in the future.

Along with many concerned citizens of Kwara State, we have identified and tried to help fix problems in the areas of education, healthcare, and clean water. Many of our community schools suffer from lack of teachers and dilapidated buildings, these negatively impact our students’ ability to learn and be successful. Over the last few years we have hired and paid the salaries of teachers in the areas of Science, technology, English, and Mathematics.

The Igbomina Mobile Clinic is on the ground doing a great job of providing first line of care to many people in Kwara South Senatorial District by focusing on silent killer diseases such as diabetes and high blood pressure. For many people, the mobile clinic is a life saver as many in the rural areas lack adequate access to healthcare facility.

We supported the efforts of Goal-Getters initiative that focus on bringing clean water to many communities through the repairs of hand pumps in many communities across Kwara South.

I am looking forward to bringing my many years of worldly experience to bring about positive changes to the lives of the great people of Kwara State.

Engr. Nurudeen Adeyemi Balogun is the son of Kwara South with parents and families from Esie, Iludun-Oro, and Offa.
He is a devoted husband and father
His passion and dedication to all things community service earned him the chieftaincy title of Akinkanju Omo of Esie Kingdom conferred on him by his Royal Highness Oba Yakubu Babalola the Elesie of Esie Kingdom
He graduated from United States Military Academy, West Point, NY with a Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering.
He earned his Masters of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from North Carolina A&T State University, Greensboro, NC
He graduated with excellence from Oakland University, Rochester, Michigan earning his Masters of Business Administration degree.
He is a Professional Engineer with many years in the automotive industry working for Chrysler Corporation, Daimler-Chrysler AG, and Ford Motor Company.
He is a problem solver as demonstrated by his earning along with others a US Patent number 6,270,440 for innovative ideas generated.
His leadership qualities and strengths as always been on display. He was a member of the Cadets Brigade Staff. The highest level of positions amongst the cadets of West Point.
He was President of the International Students association of North Carolina A&T State University, Greensboro, NC
He was President of Detroit Green Eagles Soccer Club – an association dedicated to fostering community involvement and community service amongst Nigerians and Africans living in Michigan.
He was President Metro Detroit Soccer League
He is the President of Omo Ibile Esie North America
He is the President of Igbomina Community North America
The current Chairman of KSANG Homes International Board of Directors
Numerous KSANG Committees Chairman and member
His love for all things community service is well recognized.
He along with others in Omo Ibile Esie, North America renovated the dilapidated classroom block at Esie Community High School
