Police Frown At The Use Of Hate Speech During Political Rally in Kwara
The Kwara State police command in a press statement through it Public Relations officer Dsp Okasanmi Ajayi has warn against the use of foul languages and hate speech by politicians during political rally in the State.

POLITICAL ACTIVITIES IN KWARA STATE.
The Kwara State Police Command is miffed with the activities of some political gladiators in the State who have taken it upon themselves to go against the electoral law, using subtled means of campaigning before the official commencement as stipulated by the extant laws.
More repugnant still, is the use of foul language and calling of names in total disregard to the campaign against hate speech in the country.
The command is by this press statement warning such politicians to desist from such acts, the public is also reminded that the ban on rally and processions without police awareness is still in force, organisers of such rally would be held responsible in any case of break down of law and order arising from such rally.
The command will not folds its hands when laws of the land are trampled upon with impunity, any person or group of persons found violating the law will be dealt with in accordance with the provisions of the law, meanwhile citizens are advised to go about theirlawful endeavours without fear from any quarters, the Police Command is fully prepared to provide safety and security for all, please.
