KWSG Pledges To Strengthen Relationship With RTEAN
The Kwara State Government has pledges to straighten relationship with the State chapter of the Road Transport Employers Association of Nigeria (RTEAN) with a view to improve the state socioeconomic reduce unemployment.
The Kwara State Deputy Governor, Mr Kayode Alabi gave the pledge while receiving the leadership of the in the State, Alhaji AbdulRahman Olayinka Onikijipa and other executives in his office.
Mr Kayode Alabi while expressing happiness with the visit, and the business idea proposal he received from RTEAN on behalf of Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, said , the State would always open it door for good business ideas that would bring meaning development to the State and the people.
He said the state government is committed to expand it relationship with private organizations under Public Private Partnership with the determination to bust businesses and create social amenities that would improve the quality of lives in the State.
He also thanked RTEAN for the business idea proposal, promised that the Document of Proposal would be delivered to His Excellency, Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq.
The Kwara State Chairman of the RTEAN in his earlier address, said, the numerous contributions of the present administration in the state have positively transformed the State ,and the State has now reclaimed its lost glory under the present leadership in Kwara.
He said, "Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq and the Deputy Governor, Chief Kayode Alabi have used their ocean of knowledge and experiences to change the position of Kwara in the World Map especially in the areas of good Governance, Socioeconomic development, Security, Education, Health, Agriculture ,Commerce, and other areas."
He said the Union has prepared a Business Proposal ready for submission to the Kwara State Government through the office of the Deputy Governor.
Onikijipa while appealing passionately that the business proposal should be approve in the interest of the people and the State ,
express gratitude to the government for the rehabilitation exercise going on in the road in the State.
The RTEAN chairman also appealed to Governor AbdulRahman to assist by checking the activities of the unrecognized and ilegal commercial vehicle operators and motor parks that are constituting serious security challenge to the people and Kwara State.
He then thanked the Government for bringing about improvement, peace, development, comfort and growth to state.
The association since it was established, has been in the forefront of promoting the policies and programmes of the Kwara government for smooth running of the Government, and to actualized the dreams of the Government.
Alhaji AbdulRahman mentioned that, members of RTEAN have been cooperating with the present Governor in Kwara State by paying their Taxes to the Government through the Kwara State Internal Revenue Service (KWIRS) regularly for the successful running of the Government
