Hon Owolabi Expresses Displeasure Over Kwarans Non Chalant Attitude To Environmental Sanitation Exercise
The Chairman House Committee on Health and Environment Matters, and the member representing Share/Oke-Ode constituency at the Kwara State House of Assembly, Hon. Owolabi Razaq has expressed his displeasure over Kwarans attitudes towards the environmental sanitation exercise.
Hon. Owolabi made this known today in Ilorin metropolis during the environmental sanitation exercise.
He said: " from the reports I have with from the field, the turn-out is poor and I am not happy because we all know the benefits of this exercise to us all as humans and also to our society in general".
The lawmaker therefore urged the people to dedicate the 3hours designated for the environmental sanitation exercise at the last Saturday of every month to please support the Kwara State Cleaners in their environment to rid our society of dirts.
Hon. Owolabi also commended the activities of the Kwara State Cleaners, urging them to do more in to promote hygienic living in the society.
"I want to use this opportunity commend the good work of the Kwara State Cleaners but there are still more work to be done because no rest for us all until Kwara State is clean and free from dirts.'' He stated
Hon. Owolabi further commended the good work of the Kwara State Government led by Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq for equipping the Kwara State Cleaners and he gave assurance that the Kwara State House of Assembly will continue to support the environmental sector.
