Kwara First Lady Presents Cash, Stationeries To Support Agidigbi School
The First Lady of Kwara State and Founder Ajike People Support Center Ambassador Dr Olufolake has presented cash and stationeries to support Nomadic LGEA school, Agidigbi, Gaa Agbamu in Irepodun Local Government Area of Kwara State.
Dr Abdulrazaq while making the presentation today 24th January 2021 noted that quality education offers children a ladder out of poverty to a promising future.
The presentation which was made to commemorate the 2021 International Day of Education also seeks to commend the efforts of the women in the community for bringing it upon themselves to build class room for their children to learn.
While receiving the donation the head teacher of the school Mrs Elizabeth Abodunrin Omolade thanked the First Lady for the gesture and commended the many interventions of the First Lady and the Ajike People Support Center.
Also the spokesperson of the group of women that did the class room project Hajia Aishat Bello appreciated the First Lady for reaching out to the community and promised that the group will continue to support education in their community.
Earlier the community head of Agidigbi Alhaji Okanla Bello Adam, thanked the First Lady for the gesture adding that the community has never had so good, Alhaji Okanla further prayed for success and God guidance for the Governor and the First Lady.
