Kwara Speaker Fires Media Aide: I Have Not Received Any Sack Letter From My Boss - Sheriff Gold

The story of Kwara State House of Assembly speaker sacking his media aide, Ibrahim Sheriff Gold which has gone viral on social media has been debunk by the media aide. 

Earlier the news has it that "Kwara State House of Assembly Speaker, Hon. Yakubu Danladi has sacked his media aide Ibrahim Sheriff Gold for his role in the disruption of the APC stakeholders’ meeting in Ilorin on Wednesday." 

"Sheriff Gold, who is allegedly a member of the Lukman Mustapha media crew was sacked last night after a video footage emerged of his involvement in the violent disruption of the meeting."

Sheriff debunk the news when this medium spoke with him on phone. He said the story is just a rumor and untrue. He also said if such thing will happen it is the Speaker⁩ that will disengage him directly with a letter and not on social media since he was hired with appointment letter.

"I saw the story too but the truth is I have not received any sack letter from my boss. So disregard the story." he said.
