NAKSS: Kwara Poly Holds Inaugural Ceremony (PHOTOS)

The National Association of Kwara State Students, Kwara State Polytechnic chapter, has held her annual inauguration ceremony in the Polytechnic.

The President, Senator Sunday Adeyanju Thomas, in his inaugural speech expressed his gratitude to God, the Kwara State Governor Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, the Management of the Kwara State Polytechnic, various students Association and all Kwara State Students for their support.

The President reassured NAKSSITES that his administration will fast track all that it takes to ensure that the students enjoy good welfarism and genuine Unionism they truly deserved. He also assured that hands are on deck to influence appropriate quarters to prioritize reviving the union and taking it to the very best it ought to be. 

Adeyanju also assured his administration continuous partnership and understanding with Kwara State Government and managements of tertiary institutions through dialogue.

The speech in details;

BEING A PRESIDENTIAL SPEECH OF NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF KWARA STATE STUDENTS(NAKSS),KWARA STATE POLYTECHNIC CHAPTER BY SENATOR ADEYANJU SUNDAY THOMAS

Members of the high table,the management of the most prestigious polytechnic in Nigeria(Kwara state Polytechnic) here present,Former students leaders,other invited guest,ladies and gentlemen

It is a great joy for me to witness this most anticipated inauguration of the newly elected Executives of National Association of Kwara State Students, Kwara State Polytechnic Chapter.

First and foremost, I give thanks to the Almighty for his mercy on us and keeping us alive in sound health up till this very moment. We are indeed very grateful for His blessings and love for us! 

My sincere appreciation goes to my parents for the lessons and experiences i passed through in life,they are indeed leaders and role model.May the supreme Lord continue to be with them.

It is pertinent for me to appreciate the leadership of NAKSS which is the apex indigenous student body in Kwara State. I say a very big THANK YOU! 

The management of our very own citadel of learning, Kwara State Polytechnic has been a bedrock of support for we the students, may I humbly express my sincere appreciation for the love and cooperation. 

Here, I would love to appreciate my distinguished colleagues for the trust and confidence they have in us. I believe you will all stand with this administration as a "Tree Cannot Make a Forest". We appreciate Your zeal and commitment! 

I hereby assure our distinguished colleagues that we would fast track all that it takes to ensure our students enjoy good welfarism and genuine Unionism they truly deserved. I hereby assure all our members that hands are on deck to influence appropriate quarters to prioritize reviving our noble union and taking it to the very best it ought to be.

In conclusion, we owe NAKSS a lot because that is our own sociocultural student body and we promise not to betray the trust vested in us, that is why we have continue to partner with progressive foundations and reputable personalities to make our union a better one. 

I strongly assure you all that we shall continue to do our very best to have a union we can all be proud of and a better kwara State in line with the vision of His Excellency, Mallam Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq.
