June 12: No Curfew In Kwara - Police
The Kwara State Police Command wishes to reassure the good people of Kwara State of her preparedness to ensure that the June 12 holiday is observed in Kwara State without any fear of attack or molestation.
This was contained in a press statement signed on behalf of the Kwara State Police, CP Mohammad Lawal Bagega by the Command spokesman, SP. Ajayi Okasanmi and made available to newsmen in Ilorin on Friday.
The released was also advised the people in the state go about their normal routine business as the state government did not restrict movement of her citizens, assuring that the security measures have been put implaced across the length and breadth of the State.
The Commissioner of Police Kwara State, CP Mohammed Lawal Bagega psc, enjoined members of the public to report any untoward activities of people around them to the police, while anybody suspect attempting to cause the breakdown of law and order in the state will be dealt with in accordance with the law.
