NSCDC To Adopt A Multi-Dimentional Approach To Stem The Tide Of Insecurity In The Country
The Commandant General of Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps Ahmed Abubakar Audi, PhD mni has charged all State Commandants to develop a multi-dimensional approach to stem the tide of insecurity currently bedeviling the Nation.
He made this known during a 2-day capacity building workshop organized by Korald Adenauer, in Abuja for the 36 State Commandants including the FCT on "Adopting Best Practices for Fostering Effective Leadership, Civil Military Relations & Conflict Management".
Dr Audi reiterated that the spate of Armed banditry, terrorism, kidnapping for ransom and other forms of criminalities in different parts of the country calls for immediate strategy in addressing and finding lasting solutions to the problem through the support of Multi-agency approach and synergy.
He emphasized that best practices must be exhibited by all Law Enforcement Agencies and that Inter-Agency collaboration must be strengthened to foster the sharing and exchange of credible intelligence to fight crime headlong and make Nigeria a better place to live and do business.
