Asoju Odo Presents Manifesto To Isin Party Stakeholders, Urges Constituents Not To Vote Stooges In 2023

The YPP House of Reps candidate for the Irepodun/Isin/Ekiti/Oke-Ero Federal Constituency, Charles Olufemi Folayan has advised his constituents not to vote for stooges of any godfather in 2023.
Speaking at Ijara Isin, Isin local government area on Thursday during the presentation of his legislative plans to his party stakeholders, Asoju Odo said the only thing that can happen to the constituency worse to the current situation is to vote for a stooge into office in the 2023.
He said the constituency had suffered bad governance in the past due to random elections of people who were under the control of some godfathers outside the constituency.
Folayan urged the people to believe in the power of their votes and approach the ballot with determination to vote their conscience, not minding the money they are throwing around after neglecting them for over three years.
“It’s obvious that the popular stand of the people of our constituency today is not to return the incumbent representative at the National Assembly. You must also understand that one thing that can happen to us worse to the current situation is to elect a stooge of a “thin god” as our representative “God forbid.
“Some years ago, I worked with a former member of the House of Representatives at the National Assembly Abuja, who happens to be from your local government here. He was a gentle and prudent man who had many good plans, but couldn’t achieve much because of the overbearing influence of a godfather who believed to have nominated and sponsored his election.
“The situation in one of the political party in Kwara today is embarrassing. In fact, a candidate was handed his nomination form in the sitting room of his godfather. What kind of representation do you expect from such person, if elected?
“We can’t move from frypan to fire, we don’t even want the frypan and we can’t go back to fire. We have to vote wisely in 2023 for the sake of our children and grandchildren who should not inherit the current poverty status fabricated by political bourgeoise.
“I have consciously drafted and designed these plans to lift our people out of poverty and restore the economic prosperity of our constituency. I have the knowledge, skills and character to deliver them when elected. I’m in this race to rescue the people from political bourgeoise and reward the hard-work and commitment of the youth, women and men of our constituency to the political liberation of Kwara. It’s time for “Asejere.
Charles Folayan also assured the people that the electoral act as amended and the INEC guidelines for the 2023 general elections in Nigeria has put an end to the era of impunity and manipulations of electoral process. He assured them that effort are in place to ensure transparent, free and fair elections in 2023, for all votes must count.
