Ex-gubernatorial candidate in the 2019 election and current APC stalwart,
Prince Ayorinde Adedoyin has led a massive rally and visitation drive to the nooks and crannies of Kwara South which has featured meetings with community leaders and political stakeholders to garner support and re-election for AbdulRahman AbdulRasaq as governor of Kwara state.
During his visitation to leaders and community members in Oro I & II, Ajase l & II, Esie/Ijan and the entire Irewolede surrounding environs, he called on ward leaders to give support to H.E AbdulRahman AbdulRasaq to continue the good governance and unprecedented development he has brought into the state to ensure he consolidates on his first term achievements and move the state to a higher level with a strategic plan.
The wide array of ward leaders present pledged their support and testified to the good and people oriented policies of the APC led government in the state, stating that they will never elect or go back to the years of rotten and bad leadership. They also commended the governor’s good leadership and rapid response to every critical issue in the state.
The visitation also witnessed the campaign drive making significant touch downs in Fulani communities in Kwara South, Gaa-Toyin, Gaa-Araromi, Labaka, Ago-Egudu, Alagada, Oyate, Aworo, just a few to mention. Adedoyin again, charged members of these communities to remain committed to the leadership of AbdulRahman AbdulRasaq and give more support to him in the coming election than ever before. Leaders of these communities thanked the people friendly governor and promised to deliver all their votes to the governor as he has created an enabling environment for them to live in and also created an all inclusive government by appointing special advisers on Fulani community relations.
Alhaji Toyin, a leader of the Fulani community said, “the governor has done incredibly well for our people and we appreciate. We have felt his touch in our communities and we are expecting more, in order for us to receive more, we are pledging full support to his re-election and we will deliver massively”.
Prince Ayo Adedoyin equally thanked members of the community and made a pact with them to expect bigger economic interventions in the second coming of A.A as they have just seen a tip of the iceberg from the AbdulRahman AbdulRasaq APC led government.
Consequently, Adedoyin made donations of boreholes/ well, solar light panels, fumigation chemicals/ sprayer and cash donations. He also promised quick government action to rehabilitate dilapidated schools and hospitals in Egudu and Aworo communities.
