Contributions To Community Development: Oyin-Zubair To Be Honoured


Former Senior Special Assistant (SSA) on Community Intervention to Kwara state Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, Mr. Kayode Oyin-Zubair, has been nominated for an Exemplary Alumni Award of Excellence by the Association of Students Counsellors in Nigeria (ASCON), University of Ilorin chapter. 

In the letter of nomination signed by the Executive President of the Association, Mr. Kehinde Muhammed, Mr. Kayode Oyin-Zubair was considered and found worthy of the Award based on his track record and sterling performances in community development and contributions to the development of rural areas in the state and the nation at large.

The President of ASCON disclosed that formal investiture of the Award would be conferred on Oyin-Zubair at the Association's 8th Annual Public Lecture and launching of the Mind Surgeon Magazine which would be held in honour of Prof. A. O. Oniye on July 12, 2023 at the Faculty of Education, University of Ilorin by 10: 00am prompt.

He added: "I am to further to inform you that as an Awardee, you are required to respond to this gesture by writing a letter of acceptance for the Award by sending your acceptance letter to the Secretary via the official email address of the Association: asconunilorin@gmail.com, and to forward your photograph with a brief profile of not more than a page highlighting your achievements and selfless services to the state.

"It is our hope and belief that this Award will further drive more Alumni to contribute to community development and nation building. We hope that you will accept this Award and also honour the gathering with your presence at the event.

"While congratulating you on this great achievement in your career, please be assured of the leadership of the Association, Best regards Sir. Thank You."
