PenWarlord Set To Host CCPC 2024 In Kwara - PIN

Poets in Nigeria (PIN), in collaboration with Penwarriors INC., is excited to announce that Ahmad Saliu, also known as Penwarlord, will be leading the CCPC 2024 (Cross Country Poetry Celebration) in Ilorin West, Kwara State. This promises to be an exciting event, especially with Penwarlord at the forefront!

Penwarlord is a talented writer and spoken word poetry artist from Ilorin, renowned for his powerful thoughts and creative expression. He holds degrees in English and Literary Studies from Kwara State University (2014) and Al-Hikmah University (2021).

With a impressive career spanning numerous open mics, radio and TV programs, stage performances, and lectures, Penwarlord has shared the stage with notable writers like Prof. Niyi Osundare, Prof. Olu Obafemi, and Sheriff Olanrewaju, among others. He has served as a two-time P.R.O for the Association of Nigerian Authors (Kwara State Chapter) and is an active member of the Alliance of Muslim Authors.

Penwarlord is the author of two books, The Eye-Opener and Extract from the Hourglass, and has released several popular spoken word poetry audios. Beyond literature, he works as a Business Relationship Manager at Moniepoint Microfinance Bank and offers private classes for TOEFL, Duolingo, and IELTS. In his free time, he enjoys writing, reading, playing chess, and mentoring young writers.
