Ondo Poll: APC’s Aiyedatiwa Coasts To Victory, Leads With 204,062 Votes Margin
The candidate of the All Progressives Congress (AP), Lucky Ayiedatiwa has obtained the highest number of votes from 15 of the 18 local council government in Ondo State.
The results of 15 local government have so far been announced by Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), remaining three local government areas including Ilaje, Odigbo and Ese Odo.
The local government won by the APC include Ifedore, Akoko Northwest, Owo, Akoko Northeast, Akoko Southeast, Owo, Ose and Akoko Southwest.
Others are Akure North, Idanre, Irele, Ile-Oluji/Okeigbo, Okitipupa and Ondo East, Ondo West. While the PDP is yet to win any local government.
According to the result announced so far Ayedatiwa secured 301,113 votes while his closet rival, Mr. Agboola Ajayi of the People’s Democratic Party polled 97, 051 votes.
The APC candidate is leading the race with 204,062 votes margin.
