Afrobeats superstar Davido brought a spark of energy and joy to the funeral service of Chief (Mrs.) Florence Saraki, the late mother of former Senate President Bukola Saraki at Eko Hotel on Friday, July 19.
The event, attended by Nigeria’s elite, including Governors, lawmakers and notable personalities, saw Davido make a grand entry, surrounded by his entourage to a warm welcome from the crowd.
Davido paid respects to Bukola Saraki, Adedeji Adeleke, and Aliko Dangote before taking the stage to perform his hit song “Feel”.
The infectious rhythm and explosive performance transformed the mood from solemnity to joy, getting the audience, including Peter Obi and Governor Ademola Adeleke, dancing and swaying to the beat.
Davido’s performance brought a moment of celebration to the funeral, honoring the life of Florence Saraki in a unique and uplifting way.
